Wildlife
Shady Waters Camping is
located in the bush and as such you are sharing this place with the
local wildlife which includes but is not limited to kangaroos.
wallabies, pigs, dingoes, possums, bandicoots, frogs, toads, birds,
snakes and spiders amongst others. Please observe but do not disturb
the wildlife and be careful and watch where you walk as poisonous
snakes do inhabit this area.
Historic Artillery Range
Historically the area and
the property on which Shady Waters Camping is located was used by
the military as an artillery target range and there have been a
small number of old artillery projectiles found on the property. The
majority of these are harmless, but there is the potential for
Unexploded Ordnances (UXO). The entire property has been thoroughly
checked, but in the unlikely event that you discover any such items,
please do not touch or disturb them and report it immediately to the
Campground Manager.
Indemnity
By paying your camping fees you and all persons accompanying you are
agreeing to indemnify Shady Waters Camping, CH Enterprise Pty Ltd,
its officers, agents, employees and representatives as well as the
landholder and all related parties,
from and against all liabilities, obligations, claims, judgments,
loss, damages, personal injury or death arising from or in
connection with your stay.
Please leave the
campsite as clean and tidy as you found it or better, for the next
visitors, just as you would expect to find it on your arrival.
Thankyou for your cooperation and enjoy your stay
